- Assemble and install Fire Protection Sprinkler systems, pipework and fittings as per Company’s standard operating procedures and in-house training
- Work as part of a team under the supervision of Installation Forepersons
- Responsible for reporting any Health, Safety & Wellbeing related incidents to responsible persons
- Complete assigned assembly and installation tasks within given timeframes
- Excellent safety practices in a construction environment
- Previous experience on construction sites

- Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces.

- Oversee the execution of engineering projects, including managing resources and ensuring project deliverables are met
- Ensure that all project activities comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure project goals are met
- Communicate project status to stakeholders, including clients, project team members, and senior management
- Manage project risks and issues, identifying and addressing potential problems before they impact project delivery
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- At least two years of experience in project engineering or related field
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years Fire and Sprinkler experience, preferably in Ireland and UK
- Design fire protection sprinkler systems for high-profile clients.
- Produce REVIT drawings for Electrical and Mechanical installation work.
- Ensure that standards are adhered to and that drawings produced are of the highest quality, all in accordance with Q.A. procedures.
- Creating Hydraulic Calculations using industry-approved software.
- Planning project programs/scheduling.
- Preparing submittals.
- Work closely with the Operations and Installation teams to communicate, problem solve and update drawings for all coordination and design issues.

- Full clean driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
- Flexibility to work overtime, stay away from home when required, and participate in an on-call rota
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Previous experience as a Service Technician
- Experience working with fire protection systems, pumps, pipework, engines or control panels
- Familiarity with site-based service environments

- Demonstrated skills in Electrical works and technical ability preferably in Fire Protection Industry

- First Aid & Fire Warden Certified.
- Testing and verification certificate
- Installation of various Electrical and mechanical modular Fire protection alarm valves and pumphouses for client sites.
- Testing of various alarm valve skids and modular pumphouses.
- Maintenance works carried out throughout Writech HQ where required.
- Cross department collaboration to ensure successful completion of tasks to the standards required.
- Complete any training provided and be open to learning and continual improvement.
- Complete daily timesheet in the Writech App.
- Promote and maintain a positive HSEQ culture and safe work environment in conjunction with the Writech Health & Safety Statement.
- Proactively engage in all quality initiatives while ensuring best practice standards are promoted and maintained.
- Ensure all written documentation is accurate, timely and legible, keeping all records up to date at all times.
