THE ROLE

The Fabrication Operative will be based in our head office in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. You will work as of part of a team that is responsible for the fabrication of pipework that is used in our fire protection systems.

Reporting to: Manufacturing Manager

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Fluency in English is essential for this role
• Previous general operative experience is required
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate
• Excellent safety practices
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good attitude towards work colleagues
• Flexible regarding working hours and available for overtime when needed
• Some previous experience in workshop or metal fabrication considered a distinct advantage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To fabricate all associated works as per schedule in a timely manner
• To validate pick lists for associated works.
• To ensure the highest standards of quality is always maintained.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing necessary results.
• Unload deliveries from suppliers as required.
• Load and unload Writech vehicles for site deliveries and returns as required.
• To ensure the upkeep of the fabrication workshop is maintained at all times.
