Location: Based from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath however our installation crews work on sites across the Ireland and Europe

Position Overview: The Installation Foreperson will work on various sites to carry out mechanical installation tasks, including installing pipework and fittings. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the role involves coordinating and managing site projects, ensuring safety practices, and maintaining quality standards.


  • Champion Health and Safety: Lead and drive safe work practices onsite.
  • Coordinate onsite resources including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Manage a team of Installation Operatives to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Drive quality standards in line with SOP’s and work practices.
  • Ensure Installation documentation is completed correctly, including progress drawings, testing records, site audits, RAMS, and permits.
  • Reduce wastage and provide performance feedback.
  • Supervise works and attendance of a team of Installation Operatives and subcontractors, providing guidance and training.
  • Responsible for reporting incidents, performance management, and time and attendance.
  • Ad hoc tasks as requested by Management.

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Construction environment.
  • 2+ years’ experience installing Fire Protection Systems.
  • Proven record of coordinating and managing site projects.
  • Valid Safe Pass Card & Manual Handling Certificate issued by QQI Qualified Trainer.
  • Excellent safety practices, comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Full Drivers Licence for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Valid Abrasive Wheel Training.
  • Flexible and available for overtime and stay aways depending on site location.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage a challenging workload.
  • Flexible, adaptable, problem-solving, and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Excellent reporting skills.
  • Positive, ambitious, and enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland

Desirable Qualifications/Skills:

  • CSCS Slinger and Signaller (Banksman).
  • CSCS Telescopic Handler Operation (Teleporter).
  • CSCS Mobile scaffold access tower.
  • Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
  • Forklift training.

Reporting to: Site Supervisor
Hours: 42.5 hrs per week
Days: Monday – Friday (Overtime and Saturday work as required)
