Job Title: Contracts Manager

Position Overview: The Contracts Manager will oversee the planning, resourcing, and execution of construction projects, serving as a liaison between project leads, engineers, and site-based teams. This role will manage various aspects of project execution, including subcontractor management, quality monitoring, and progress reporting. Direct reports include Design & Project leads, Contracts Coordinator, and Installation Supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately forecast and execute resources on projects in collaboration with project leads, engineers, and site-based teams.
- Liaise with Commercial & Service departments from tendering through commissioning stage to ensure smooth handover of contracts.
- Address operational issues identified by Operations caused by Projects team and work towards resolution.
- Champion and assist in monitoring Quality processes for projects.
- Lead and track performance of direct reports.
- Manage external subcontractors, including onboarding, negotiation, and monitoring quality/costs associated with them.
- Schedule and monitor workload of direct reports to ensure adherence to program and KPIs.
- Manage contract programs and progress reporting on in-house systems.
- Review purchasing items for projects to ensure timely procurement meeting project milestones.
- Action feedback from Installation and Design App and delegate accordingly.
- Lead Employee Review reporting and preparation process for relevant teams.
- Monitor Design Audits and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure all contracts are planned a minimum of 8 weeks in advance.
- Run and manage weekly planning meetings in line with project needs/client expectations.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager over multiple projects.
- Degree or Diploma in Project Management or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Skilled communicator with ability to collaborate with key areas of the business and customers.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining adherence to process disciplines.
- Responsible, personable, detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong organisation and time management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland
